I haven't heard of a lot that do.
They usually go to 99%. This appears perfectly ok. What does yours do?

Known issue. Mine only goes to 99%. If I unplug and plug it in, it will go to 100%.

I believe that it is programmed to do that. It prolongs the life of the battery by not continually charging.

Mine will be at 99 or 100 when I pull it off the charger and within a minute (even idle), it will be at 97 or 96. I really don't think the display is accurate.

I was having the issue where it would only reach 99% one night on accident I drained the battery and put the phone to charge. Ever since the phone charges all the way to 100% and even this symbol = in red when it charges completely to one hundred percent.

Maybe try draining the battery completely and try charging again. Cos it may need some calibrating.

Ya I have this same issue. Battery displaying the charge is only to 99%.

Maybe I'll try draining the battery fully to see if that helps. I'm using my PlayBook charger overnight to charge my phone. Off the charger at 7:00 AM by 1:00 -1:30 I'm down within the 33% range so I'll give the phone a little boost to get it back into the 80% range. You never know what can occur between leaving the office and getting home, so I always make sure I have enough juice in the phone.

Somebody in cb suggested this and it worked like a charm for me, my Z10 charges to 100% ever since...
LET YOUR BlackBerry Z10 COMPLETELY DIE TO THE POINT THAT IT WILL POWER OFF!!! Once this has happened just plug it back into your charger let it charge to full and disconnect. Your z10 should now show 100%

    Hope this helps

I too have faced this problem .I think it is due to low voltage charging when connected to the computer.

I have been having this issue since I updated my OS to 10.1. Plugging it into the computer fixed it temporarily, and goes back to charge only 97% or 98% only.
My Z10 has been working flawlessly on OS 10.0, but I wanted the 10.1 added feature so moving back to 10.0 doesn't seem ideal for me

So I tried running down the battery to empty and then gave it a full charge.

Now my battery only charges to 98% and I took the phone off the charger at 7:00 AM and it's now 10:30 AM and my battery is at 45%. My battery has got worse by discharging the battery! WTF?!

That's terrible sorry to hear that. My battery still shows 100% and my battery life has been Ok not great but at least full 10 hours for sure on heavy usage.

Maybe you overcharged the battery? I never leave my BlackBerry plugged in all night.

It shouldn't, Blackberry should have that figured out with the OS. I've seen mine go down and then charge back up several times throughout the night if its left plugged in.

It's possibly down to the charging source as suggested here. For example, I've got an old BB charger that is rated at 700 mA output at 5 VDC, and this takes me to 99% like some of you are getting here. If I use the the tiny new charger that comes with the Z10, it's rated at 750 mA at 5 VDC, and that little bit of extra current actually takes it to 100%. Similarly, if I just use a USB connection on my laptop to charge it too gives enough juice to top it off.

That shouldn't be the case. I always charge my phone overnight and my battery's been alright.

I don't leave it overnight because I had the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and I would do that and my battery warped and got all FAT had to buy a replacement. I don't want to chance that happening to my BlackBerry Z so I just charge it until it's 100% and I've noticed my battery life is pretty good even on heavy usage.

Ok the issue already solve, you have to drain the battery until is dead for several times, and charging it and it will take effect in few days untill the battery reconfigure it self and now i am on 100 persen charge. Thank you guys.
