Dear All,

before two days I was taking some pictures through my Z10 camera and while I was taking the fifth picture my camera stop working!! when I open the camera it will show a dark screen only. Both the back and the front camera are showing the same dark screen.

please guys what shall I do? it is a problem with the software or what?? can anyone help here. I only had the phone for 3 weeks

Try reloading the software first. If it doesn't work, it's probably a hardware problem.

Try removing your battery and leave it out for at least 10 minutes before you put it back in. I hope this helps.

You can reload the device software using bb link... there's an option that says reload device OS or something.. make sure to have a backup first!

this may be a handset version problem. i had the stl100-1 and it did the same thing, telling me the camera is in use. you need to get a new phone and if possible get the version 2 or 3.
i had to get a white stl100-2 and its my 3rd z10 in as many weeks but im loving it ( the first two were stl100-1 black unlocked and both had software issues)

I Have the same problem exactly, is it that easy to replace to a new Z10 ? Im afraid they might say no
