My family and I just watched our 1st movie using my z10 last night! I bought a HDMI cable, connected it from my z10 to my flat screen and it worked flawlessly! Streaming video that I rented from BlackBerry World (World War Z) in 1080p, 16:9, dolby surround sound!

I have a cable but I also have an Apple TV so I don't use my Z10 for video much other than for baseball.

I won't use the BB world streaming much, PS3, 360, Wii, and HTPC all hooked up to my main TV.

Monoprice.com has really good prices and a variety of lengths. Also small adapters to change a regular hdmi into a micro.

Yeah I had been thinking of going with a 10 foot regular with an adapter... don't have a real need other than playing NBA jam and other goofing around, so I have lagged on my purchase.

The issue there can be some of the regular cables are pretty thick/heavy/inflexible. That can put stress on the port if the cable and device (either the z10 or the pb) are not well-aligned. Some of the micro cables are a bit thinner.

My son and I downloaded a few movies this summer from BlackBerry World. Watched them on rainy days at the camp. Plugged the Q10 into the flatscreen, and had a movie! Was better than hauling a dvd player and movies around.

$35 because I bought the 3 year no hassle replacement plan for the cable. My kids normally tear up the cable in about 2 years, lol.

LOL I love doing stuff like that to my coworkers. "Hey can your iPhone do this?" and show off the auto sleep/auto unlock of my BB case.
