On Twitter...they are en route and will be out next week!
Yep, it would appear I was lied to. By a salesman of all people. (Insert shocked look here).
The only thing stopping me from going to Rogers right now is that my employer may be working out a BYOD employee subsidy with MTS or Rogers. So I wait.
well guys is this the week the the Z10 will arrive?
I'm gonna go with "Not likely" :)

Same here but if the shipment does come what day do you say it will arrive in stores I say Wednesday.
Monday
I'm sure MTS has their hands tied by Rogers; after all, they sold their soul to Rogers, backstabbing Telus in the process, just so they could get a good chunk of iPhone4 sales.
Come to Telus. 30% network coverage in Manitoba, just the populated parts. $55/mo gets you that same plan but 5GB/mo, free tethering, and well, free anywhere-in-canada-anytime-of-day.

Funny inside story about that "Powered by MTS" app, sadly my lips are sealed. Let's just say, this app is likely not coming. Not contractually obligated to provide it.
And yes, I do have a big hate-on for MTS. Most "American" company in manitoba...

MTS and Telus never got along going back to the CDMA days. Telus can't even provide coverage to the US border (strangely enough it's populated there). Yeah the price plan you quote is great, but only if you never go much south of Winnipeg, west of Brandon, or heaven forbid, off number 1 highway.
It doesn't change the fact that MTS is still pathetic in getting the Z10 with pretty much every other carrier in the world getting it before them. They have done such a disservice to their customers, without as much as an explanation, just pompous responses about it being worth the wait and being the only LTE provider in Manitoba. I wouldn't touch Telus or Bell with a 10 foot pole simply because of lack of coverage and i've heard enough horror stories about Rogers that would scare people to anyone else but them.
"Should be in our stores in a couple of days."
that is what MTS twitter account @talktomts tell us today.
Believe it or not. I don't....
You guys are gonna be happy happy happy

I really can't understand why people stay with mts. They're pathetic as a provider and their history of poor service and ripping off customers just does not warrant the loyalty that people give them. This z10 fiasco is a prime example. People are patiently putting up with this "We'll have it soon" and "Oh we have LTE" crap yet ppl just keep waiting instead of switching to a reputable provider. They have no explanation whatsoever but hey, that's ok cuz it's mts. They're allowed to do that. I look at their tweets and can't help but laugh at them because they're a joke. And what about Windows Phone 8? There's another joke...I bet they've never even heard of it!
I don't care if they undercut the competition to try and steal business. I would rather pay more for top notch service than suffer with mts.
I just don't get it....

I'll believe it when it's in my hand.
Oh MTS always late to the game I mean ios 6.1 brought the iPhone 5 up to LTE on MTS network yet their website still claims it to be 4G HSPA

My old 9900 is a 4G phone on the MTS website and I never saw 4G once. Always was 3G.

Exactly the kind of stuff I'm talking about...even their bold 9900 doesn't sport H+... 3G only yet a Rogers 9900 is H+...why is that?
I would be seriously embarrassed if I worked for them.

MTS started pushing their newly acquired HSPA 3G Network as 4G, and it all started with the 9900 when they got that device. I remember that marketing scam plain as ever. I'd walk around malls and come across a MTS store with a big sign stating 4G showing the 9900 on screen with only a 3G network symbol. It was such a joke. I tweeted to MTS when they said they'd be getting the Z10 later, and all they could come back to me with was "but at least it'll be on the LTE network", which is also a joke since their LTE isn't even true LTE. They're speeds top out a 75Mbps where as all other companies are between 100-150mbps

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the 4G just means you're hspa+

Z10 on MTS network will show as " 4G " after download of 1st update file, it looks ok but not sure it really means anything other than matching the advertising

I wonder if the MTS Z10 is the same as the Verizon hence why it's taken them so long to release it
Posted via CB10
My Z10 on 4G is almost 2mb for download speed faster than my MTS home highspeed internet. So its pretty good, im in a rural area so i havent been able to try the 'LTE' yet
Here's hoping today is the day. I'm still wondering on what pricing they will put on the Z10. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if their price is very uncompetitive. The waiting continues.
for the stores that may be getting it today..and for those that are getting it today.. post the price please, knowing my luck my closest MTS connect store wont get it till tomorrow..

I guess you need a new source. Wasn't @talktoMTS on Twitter was it?
Let's just say, the app is here and works quite well on my Rogers Z10. Well at least better than the Jets.
