Use a blue tooth mouse. USB OTG I think is coming in 10.2 but requires a dock to work on the Z10

AIO Remote allows you to use your Z10 as a mouse on your computer but I am not sure if you can use it as a mouse or not. Do try it and let us know if it is possible.

I've seen people that have connected Bluetooth mouses to the Z, but I'm not sure if they all work

As Brandon said, at this time using a bluetooth mouse is your only option. It should work fine without any additional software (plus, you can't really install applications on the Z10 the same way you do for a laptop/desktop machine. The apps either have to be available in BB World or you have to have the .bar file to sideload, both of which require the manufacturer to actually spend the time making the app.)

I'm using an HP mouse and it works fine especially since I figured out how to close full-screen apps. The other day I got stuck and could not minimize or close apps or the Settings app using the mouse. I just played a bit 10 minutes ago and figured it out.

Anybody have a link to a blue tooth mouse that works on the Z10? I just tried the Dynex one but it's a no go. Asks for a pairing code that doesn't exist with the mouse. Tried 1234,1111,0000 and none work....

Do you guys hook your z10 to a monitor via hdmi? I just wonder why you'd need a mouse.

I do yes. I stream movies from my computer using Link... The reason I want a mouse is so I can FF/rewind/pause check email, etc... without having to get up and go pick up my phone.

Does the NFC pairing of the Bluetooth device work? That would be awesome.

You know I have not really tried it.

Maybe I should see what it does - as occasionally I get caught in a LOOP of sorts. Both my Playbook and the Z10 now share the mouse. Sometimes one or the other stubbornly grabs the connection and even "disconnect" does not break it as it will immediately re-pair. Sometimes the same thing happens with the BB Music Gateway.
