Given the need for different bands to be supported than NA carriers, that pretty much confirms a guess I made the other day about us not knowing all the l-series codenames as so far we only know enough for cdma/lte. na gsm/lte and hspa, but we now have a second gsm/lte too.
4G in the UK **** YeAh
A reliable 2G signal would be progress where I am. Thanks Vodafone, it's not like I'm in the Scottish Highlands.
and thats me sorted sweet.
But 4G does cost a lot so meh
Lack of competition is the main reason for that right now in the UK, but once the others also get going, there will not be the same scope to charge a premium for the delivery mechanism of the data on tariffs that have data caps anyway.
That's what I'm waiting for when O2 the others get it then 4G maybe on PAYG not contract only
lol im with EE (simply because i signed with orange, i aint paying for 4G) and while the plans aint cheap, its more like availability of signal thats the biggest holdback.
I\m hoping to get out of my contract with those tax dodgers Vodafone, and get a BB10 phone with EE. Two birds with one stone hopefully.
