From what I know that UK carrier is carrying STL100-2 and Telus is carrying STL100-3 (no idea which sub-variant).
For those you have received your phone, probably can help to update the carriers and model variants. It might help people who is planning buying from his/her carrier.02-04-13 02:40 AMLike 3 -
Will the iPhone 5 work with T-Mobile's 3g/4g/LTE network? (answered) Support | T-Mobile02-04-13 07:11 PMLike 0 -
Which of these would be compatible with Wind mobile in Canada?
After a bit of research I think the STL100-3 Model RFK121LW would match the Wind network, as their page says that their network is UMTS (AWS) 1700/2100.
Edit: oh both models of STL100-3 would work on the Wind network as they both support UMTS 1700 and 2100Last edited by toshstone; 02-07-13 at 12:41 AM.

http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...16/index2.html02-04-13 09:26 PMLike 0 - I don't think so. Currently T-Mobile is offering HSPA+ with 1700MHz and 1900MHz. Even with the LTE server planned in 2013 is still with 1700MHz. I don't think it is legit.
Someone on this thread said they got the stl100-2 working on T-Mobile. I don't know if this is legit or not.
http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...16/index2.html02-04-13 09:54 PMLike 0 - Actually, T-Mobile is in the process of rolling out 1900MHz so it IS possible to get an HSPA+ Device from AT&T, Bell, Rogers etc. on T-Mobile because you only need the 850MHz or 1900MHz band. In the US and Canada, AWS requires both bands. To be even more technical, I "think" with AWS one band is used exclusively for download and the other band for upload, at least the way it's set up here forces that to happen. Not totally sure about the upload and download thing but I do remember reading it somewhere on how it wouldn't work if the phone only has 2100 MHz it still needs to have the 1700 MHz band supported.02-04-13 10:28 PMLike 0

- Mine is a z10 STL 100-3 RFF91LW.
I inserted my mobilicity sim card, clicked on settings, then Network Connections, then Mobile Network, turned on Mobile Network, Data Services, Data services while roaming - off, Network Mode 4g & 3g, Network Selection Mode - Automatic.
Then I closed settings and restarted the phone with the mobilicity sim card inside.
Voila, it is now connected to Mobilicity.
I don't know about wind though with this Model and subvariant.
Gambei , Mongol03-13-13 08:09 PMLike 0 - I am so sick of T-Mobile using a less common band for UMTS.
Only 1 guy in eBay selling a 3 model version 21 and he is **** bent on 850$
Why should I have to pay more just to make it work as intended in my carrier? Rediculous...it is rediculous to charge people more and take advantage of the band variance to make such a significant profit.
Anyone know of any other source to buy a Wind/Tmo one for like $650 tops?
I'm growing impatient waiting for T-Mobile to announce when they said they'd be one of the first.
ALSO:
To whoever said Wind version is the only one that will get 1700 LTE for Tmo US, I think that's wrong.
The only difference between 21 and 91 variants are absence of 1700 band for UMTS. So if you used a 91 on T-Mobile you would get LTE but loose 1700 mhz UMTS bands.
So what?
Well, T-Mobile hasn't finished refarming their 1900 MHz UMTS so you will likely, imo almost certainly, find areas whuch have no LTE and no 1900mhz UMTS, and you will be on EDGE. Thatll be so frustrating you'll want to throw your phone off an edge.
I know there seems to be a great deal of people in Tmo impatiently settling for STL100-3 91. I don't understand that. The phone is not cheap. It is expensive enough to be a new desktop computer. I pay $650 I want it to work as intended and the best experience posisble. 91 in Tmo is cash in the trash.
