Yes, I'm averaging about a 50% send to error. Some work and others don't.

Yes, since I did the update yesterday, I can no longer attach pictures to my text msgs. Not having any luck on trying to find a fix.

Well I am able to send pictures again. I had to do a security wipe. Once that was complete another software update popped up approx 14meg. Installed, restored from my second most recent back, and lo and behold I was able to send pictures by MMS again. One thing I did notice when I did the OTA update my network icon changed from LTE to 4GLTE. Once I did the reset it changed back to LTE. Not sure if that had anything to do with it. I am on Rogers in Winnipeg.

Noticing this issue on TELUS as well. Seems to be a hardware issue rather than a carrier issue. Found that the MMSC and proxy fields were blank on the phone. For TELUS, here's what I needed to enter to get it to work:

    • go into hub
    • click 3 dots
    • click settings
    • click text messages
    • click advanced
    • if the MMSC URL is blank, enter http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mmsc
    • if the proxy URL is blank enter 74.49.0.18:80
    • retry

It's not BB, it's the particular stupid carrier either adding their crap to the SW and then not testing it.
Other carriers, AT&T for instance, do NOT have that problem.
Seems I hear a lot of crap about Rogers here all the time.
Sounds like a hobby shop little wanna be carrier.

Having this problem as well - on Rogers in Ontario. Have been having it for about a week now, finally got fed up and called tech support.

Here's their response: (settings sent to me via email, after a bit of an argument. They claim that this is a known BB issue and is being worked on)

Yes I had the same problem. I contacted Rogers multiple times until I got a hold with someone that really wanted to help me, and he told me to reload the OS. Make sure you back up before! And now it works, I can send mms and receive them!

My picture messaging did not work. I was advised by Rogers to back up and reload OS. I did. I restored my application data and the mms worked. Then as soon as I restored settings it failed. I have done this a coupe of times and each time the problem is the same. The problem is that if I don'tr restore my settings I lose a good number of my contacts and I do not get my password keep contents. So I know it is in the settings, but don't know what settings are problematic. Any help? I saw a long list of Rogers settings posted, may be I will try that.
