I've just recently bought a micro SD card here: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/vie...d=261214207494

My question is since its not a brand one, do you think it'll be bad etc?

What is the benefits Class 10 provide?

I only use SanDisk, I don't care if it costs more. The no name ones are usually corrupt or have compatibility issues. Lexar makes a good one too. The only other one I used was a Samsung one.

The higher the class, the higher the theoretical read/write speed. Just like other technology items, sometimes no-name brands are actually off the same production line as the brand names.

That said, I don't mess around when it comes to the integrity of my data. I'll spend an extra $20 or $30 to make sure I'm as safe as possible.
    sklotz2000 and Supa_Fly1 like this.

Only way to know is putting it into the Z10 and having the device format it.

If you're scared of being scammed (being given something lower capacity than 64Gb), you may wanna try to fill the card up. If at any point before 59gb it complains about space, you've been scammed. Remember to check if the files are not being overwritten. Either (lack of space warning and overwriting) will indicate that the sd has been rigged.

But only use files smaller than 4gb, as the filesystem used by thhe Z10 can't deal with larger ones.

I tend to only use San disk, I've used tons of memory cards in the past with photography stuff and San disk has always been amazing and not let me down. I feel like most of the other brand cards that I've used have died out on me at one point or another. I'd rather spend a bit more up front to not lose anything down the road

My 64gb card has no brand on it etc and never ever had a problem with it might be cheap but does the job like an expensive card would no difference.

I'd rather spend the extra few bucks for a brand name sd card. Scandisk gives a 5 year warranty and products are tested to be xray proof/ water proof etc. I guess it comes down to what we each store on the card and how much we'd care if it was lost. Like music vs pictures etc.

That's where I got mine... from a US seller with great feedback... didn't save my pics...

Don't be cheap... get a good card. Trust me, it isn't worth it if you value anything that you store on it.
