I just wanna know if anyone has this issue with the media card having a 'problem'. I've formatted this darn think and it still says problem. Formatted it with my old 9800 and no problem, checked it with my pc, no problem. Formatted it with my z10, "Media card problem".

Formatting it inside of the Z should resolve any issues unless there is a problem or compatibility issue with the card itself. What type is it? Size? Class?

So you can't access it all all from within your Z? May be a card slot issue. Since its new, I'd run it back to my carrier just bin case.

I bought a 32g class 4 card and it did funky stuff, so I returned it for a class 10 card and all was fixed.

So, what class is your card?

That looks like a class 4 card. it's beside "16GB", the sort-of circle right beside it. It has the number 4 meaning it is a class 4 SD card.

Now, not all class 4 card is the same quality, just saying from my experience with the Z10, my previous card which was class 4 did funky stuff. When I returned it for a class 10, everything worked as it should. So it could have been the class or it could have been my sd card was a very crappy brand. Maybe it's best to go with a class 10 because a class 10 card would probably come from a more reliable brand? *shrug*

Either way, here is some info on what the class means: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_...d_Class_Rating

Hopefully I'm wrong, but I think you'll still run into problems with this card, to be honest. I'd just get a class 10 card

Class 10 is faster anyway. Faster is always better.

Dude!(or Dudette) That's the funky issue I was having with my class 4 card before I returned it for a class 10 card. I would try to copy over say 200 songs and after it said that it was finished, only 31 songs was copied over. Videos copied over would not play, etc.

You really need to get a new card if this is happening when copying songs/videos over to your sd card.

    Good luck.

I had the similar problem, but I got it fixed by using FAT32 (default) and Restore to device Default. Hope this helps.
