Press and hold one items that you want to delete. When it turns "Blue" the menu bar appears on the right.
Choose Select More and highlight away.
Then hit the delete trash can to toss them away.
    samson47 and eBud like this.

Thanks Icfut, this worked well, I appreciate your input.

I find it a little faster (and more logical) to use the overflow menu :
    - select the "..." overflow menu button
    -choose "Select more"

To me, long tapping and holding one item to select more items is illogical, so I'm glad they included this option too.

You can also press and hold on one of the date lines. Then hit Delete, this is supposed to delete all items prior to that date. From what I have experienced it deletes all emails, but not other stuff. If you change the Hub to the Notifications section and do the same thing then it will delete the Notifications. Doesn't seem to work with Text Messages and I haven't tried BBM messages.

Holding the date and trying to delete prior doesnt work with text messages for some reason... only notifications and emails...

Does "Delete Prior" only remove the items from the hub inbox or does it also delete from the mail server? Clearly I prefer "Remove" and not "Delete".

It deletes from the mail server.

Hopefully they'll give us some better options there soon.
