Can anyone comment on the quality/volume of the Z10 loudspeaker, particularly in comparison with former BB handsets? I listen to a lot of podcasts and audiobooks on my handset, and the tests etc in reviews seem rather lukewarm and inconclusive - real life experience would be welcomed. Many thanks!

I can definitely say the loudspeaker on the z10 is loads better than all my previous blackberrys. I've had the 8530, 9670, 9930 and the 9850 before this and it's like night and day.

I used to put the loudspeaker on both the 9930 and 9850 while driving to work, but I had to hold the phone close to my face still in order to hear the other person. Now with my z10, i can place it in my lap and sometimes on the passenger seat and I can hear the other person very well. It often depended on outside noise while driving, street noise vs freeway noise, but I can hear calls very well Under both conditions.

The loudspeaker is out of this world on the z10, very loud, clean and crisp...goes to show that QNX/BB have done a sterling job on the audio quality of this phone.

The only thing i find negative is the lack of stereo speakers, would have much better had they put in stereo speakers.
