My old bell blackberry email is no longer supported so now I'm shopping around for a free email client. I'm really not a fan of hotmail.

What do you folks use on your Z's and why? Any recommendations/features that make your client better then the others?

gmail or the new outlook.com email is pretty nice. I like the outlook.com service more due to its great interface, skydrive integration and fb/twitter integration as opposed to g+ which for me is a ghost town since most people I know use fb. Gmail is a little on the creepy side due to recent changes in Google's privacy policies and dropping of exchange support for free users creating issues for us and windows phone users (calendar is still screwed up for some people if you have multiple ones). Waiting for my z10 to arrive, upon which I am migrating to outlook

No. Outlook is the new domain for Hotmail.

No, you don't need to. You're thinking of outlook the office product, but this is the new domain created by microsoft to replace hotmail. Just proceed to https://www.outlook.com and sign up
