I created in VLC player web interface remote and it's working great from any browser except Blackberry's.
In web interface settings I can only insert password. But when I try to login from Z10 I cannot click Log in button without username, and I cannot enter any username in VLC settings.
Any way around this? Other than installing vlc remote app.

leave the username blank.

Hmm, I was hopeful, as it should be optional in the updated releases...

For any website http://<url> you can embed the username / password in the URL like this: http://username<colon>password@<url> and the username can be blank. Not sure if the Z10 browser allows this but it is something else to try.

e.g. http://:[email protected]:8080
