I think i read somewhere they won't implement the pattern lock as someone can inadvertently "trace" the pattern.

Doesn't have to be the pattern lock
I'm just hoping for something smart and original.
Iphones are famous for "Slide to unlock"
Androids are famous for their pattern lock.
BBRY should have their own original lock screen thing

What about the timer? Minimum time to lock is 10 seconds and there is no setting to lock the phone immediately instead of waiting 10 seconds. Only method is to hold the power button long enough to get the padlock icon to show on the front of the phone and then tap it. Z10 needs a better "immediate" lock ability.
