    Been a lot more active recently on the latest 2.1 OS build from Vodafone and I don't know what it is.

    Installed Spotify, works great. Also using Amazon App Store.

    Is it a headless app geofencing?

    I've noticed the same. I think the question was why are location services on when it doesn't immediately seem like anything is using them.

    Prior to the 10.2.1 release I would see the location services icon on only when I had an app in use. Within a couple seconds of closing the app, the icon would dissappear. Now I've randomly noticed the icon on when I have nothing open.

    Ah good suggestion. Obviously would use location services for the duration of the glympse...not sure if that was active when I was seeing the icon and nothing else was in use, but I'll check next time.

    I turned location services on bbm but it still appears for me.

    Will keep trying other apps.

    Turned off Glympse and it has stopped. Weird as I wasn't using bbm at the time

    Done that. It didnt work at first but after a restart it worked fine.
