    It's the NFC antenna, not inductive charging. If there is inductive charging, it's elsewhere, not on the back.

    I agree, the original dock is useless but for about $7 you can get an alternative on eBay that is deeper and holds the phone securely.

    Yeah, I'll vouch for that; that's where I found mine. Intriguingly, the ones I got carry BlackBerry OEM branding and look and feel good enough to be OEM, despite being a completely different design than the dock they actually sell.

    I would welcome wireless (contactless ) charging. No real way of knowing until a leak, or teardown, or launch. I consider it an important feature for my personalvuse currently(cradle charging contacts)

    Inductive would be great. But I don't mind charging contacts either a la Playbook Style (rapid charger).

    I use the dock for my 9810 every night, and the only time i have trouble is when i manage to put it in the dock backwards.

    Lets not jump on a device that hasn't even been announced yet.

    I would like to see a 9900 style dock for BB10. Like someone said, mine is a bit fiddly at times to get seated properly aswell but couldn't be without it now.
