Try version 23 of Firefox. I got that to work. I hated the UI and how difficult it was to use, but it definitely did work.
My recommendation? Forget Firefox and Chrome. Instead, use Opera and Opera Mini. Both work perfectly for me and are a needed addition considering the limitations of the stock browser.

You need to download additional file and place it to the obb folder.

Chromecast not working.
Any Apps that uses the Chromecast "fling" won't work (e.g. HBO Go, can access movie can't fling to Chromecast device)
