Sorry if this has already been addressed, but if so I couldn't find it. I'm currently using Desktop Manager with my Playbook. I'm about to get a Z10, for which I guess I need to use Link. Is it OK to have both DM and Link on the same computer (I thought I'd heard of some compatibility issues)?

I've been using Link for my PlayBook since it was released with no issues. Granted, I haven't done a restore with it yet (no reason to,) but it seems to recognize the PB fine.

*Edit: I don't miss the old backup/restore software at all. Link is a viable replacement for DM.

Really?!! I figured Link wouldn't work with the Playbook since the Link website seems to say that it's only for BB10 devices. Good to know--thanks!

Yes, that is the implication on the website. But as noted LINK works with the playbook and the bb10 devices.

But I've had both software suites installed with no issues.
