So I know there's been lengthy discussion on which zed10 (hey that's growing on me) will work on tmobiles current network (3g and 4g/hsda) and future lte when it comes (1700 frequency).

Thus I'm sure myself and a bunch of other tmob usa users are dying to find out if anyone has confirmed that a northern zed10 can be unlocked for tmobile here in the states. Let's save the healthy discussion around models for the other threads, I ONLY want to know if anyone has been able to confirm theirs is working and from what carrier they got it and which model it is.

We (tmob users) would love to find out. March 27 (rumored) is basically april. Which is definitely too far away.

    Thanks in advance!

While I was at work (Michigan), I did a manual scan and T-Mo came up as an available network. I didnt switch to it as ATT is Telus' roaming partner.

I am in Pasadena CA. I am using an unlocked Rogers Z10 on the Solavei network, which uses T-Mobile towers. The phone is fully functional. Internet, mms, text everything works no problem. The model number is stl100-3.

I have the St100-1 and I only get EDGE on T-Mobile. So I'm stuck with AT&T.

The STL100-3 is compatible with T-Mobile. I've tried a Wind SIM in mine and it works (and they use the same bands), and a friend has a T-Mobile USA SIM in his and it works. I also saw T-Mobile in my list of networks while in the US, and it indicated 4G service (not EDGE). When T-Mobile deploys LTE on AWS (1700) that will work too, Rogers/Bell/Telus all have LTE on AWS and it works great. I'm completely certain you're good to go on T-Mobile with a STL100-3.

There are two versions of the stl100-3.
One has the 1700 mhz hspa band, the other does not.

    STL100-3(RFK121LW/RFF91LW)

The RFK121LW has 1700, the other does not. It still may work on T-Mobile in areas where they have refarmed and are using 1900 mhz.

I have a 100-3 z10 and I have been on the T Mobile USA 4G network for the last 10 days and have a solid 4G signal. In some spots I have even seen a 4G LTE icon.

I received the 10.0.0.85 update when it detected my T Mobile sim card and I have the T Mobile My Account App and the T Mobile start up and shut down logos.

I have have a couple of random restarts but I received two small 2MB updates the past two days and haven't had one since. So far I really like the device.

I wish T-Mobile had more coverage in Wisconsin. I can't even get a post paid plan from them. Only prepaid and coverage is very sparse. They have some great plans though.

Hey ROland, I'm on the same boat as you, I am scared to accept the update though because I feel maybe it blocks hotspot to other phones??
