This just happened Last night. Running the old official update from att. No apps running controlling notifications. I want my blinking red light back!

Have you rebooted? Some app of yours must have changed the notifications. Steady blue might mean wifi signal? Check your notifications under settings??

No led apps? Even if they are not open colour led app given for free doing the blackberry giveaway caused problems even though it's not headless. Only after deleting it the problem stopped.

Go to device monitor, force close it and you will see the problem stops then you can delete it

Steady blue light comes on when I receive a text or email in place of blinking red.

I don't believe I have any apps installed that can change the light except power tools and I don't believe that's an optuon

How do i get to device monitor?

I'm on 10.2.1. I'm not sure if device monitor is on the old update.

I'm sure someone will explain how to force close that app so you can see if it resolves your problem

Actually a reboot would force close it - does the problem still occur even after a reboot?

The blue light used to be to show Bluetooth is on.

    Try a restart:

Press and HOLD both Vol Up/Down buttons. Keep holding while the screen goes fully black (ignore the screenshot), keep holding through the Black/White logo and when the Colored Logo shows up, release those buttons.

If you have the STL100-1 variant the volume button reset method doesn't work. In that case, Press and HOLD the Power On Button until you see the LOGO as above

    Device Monitor

Swipe down from the main screen. It should be listed in the Quick options showing or you can find it under Settings and Quickies and make it show. (it is a 10.2 feature, I believe).

Just so you know Power Tools does have an LED section so make sure there's nothing setup in there so the problem don't come back. I know you fixed the issue but just in case it returns. Also Power Tools is a headless app so it runs automatically on a reboot if you are running 10.2.1 but since you have an OS lower than that you should be okay.
