    That is the question.

Do I install the leak or do I wait to see how long it will take EE to get the 10.1 patch out.

It depends on how EE handles OS updates. Are they typically slow or fast releasing new updates?

Rumors are flying that Bell, Telus, and Rogers are going to have 10.1 available tomorrow.

And I did all leaks I found, no issues whatsoever.

    Take a leak, I say.

I tried last two leaks now. Installs within a minute just by a double click of the mouse so much better than updated the old blackberries

Agreed, I have tried the last two leaks and had no significant problems. I used to have an Android phone and I looked into rooting it and was totally not trying that even though my phone was a POS that desperately needed improving. With BB and lbfe's leaks it is a totally different experience. Virtually zero chance of bricking the phone since you can always go back to the last official version, simple process to install the leak and lots of help here if something doesn't work right.

The trick is to start with a clean slate, do a factory reset before you load the new os, then redo everything you can save your conacts with contact x

Well EE was mega late getting the last official releases out the door when Vodaphone UK and O2 UK both had it out days before. So that's what is motivating me to take the jump into OS leaks.

Go for it. You'll be installing leaks all the time and you can always go back if you need to. The latest leak is pretty good.

I personally am satisfied with my Z10.
The only feature I would really want at the moment would be wifi-calling. Unfortunately it isn't available in any leak.
If it was then I would probably be more likely to take the plunge.

Well unless you need better software stability (have problems with your apps) or need better/smoother sideloading, then there's no reason for the leak.

I wish I hadn't updated but I'm glad for the things that work in 10.1.01762 that didn't work in 10.0.10.822, however the latest leak has nummerous bugs so unless you're experiencing problems with your current software there's absolutely no need

    Numerous (sp)

The latest leaks have far fewer bugs than the current official OS10 versions.

You don't need to do that. The autoloader wipes the phone.

@Phill_UK well the software i came from didn't have any serious bugs (sideload and app performance yes) but here the payment options goes missing some people have had problems starting their device ect. and you can find lots of examples for this dev version where things are not as they should be. I'm glad that my bloomberg sideload loads without freezing though previously I had to say wait instead of quit for that one to run.

Nervous no, but I wish I hadn't wasted time on this upgrade since it does have a lot of bugs and I will have to upgrade once an official (distrubution/vs/development) 10.1 leak becomes avaliable
