    Hello, i have a question, my Keyboard takes a lot of RAM, over 40MB!
    I have set up 2 Input Languages, english and russian...
    i am on official 10.2.1

    Hi phoenix,
    I'm curious: how did you track the KB RAM consumption ? Mine isn't even showing into terminal control memory section ...

    it shows up in my device monitor, it doesn't says "keyboard" it is службы ввода which means "input services" and i think that's the keyboard

    I don't know what input services are but mine takes 25mb. About ONE MB per letter!!!! It could also include touch-screen?????

    Ah, Ok gotcha. AFAIK This includes anything for input, incl touch screen, voire recipient an, of course, keyboard.

    Its taking 45mb for you too, so i think it should be ok for me taking 43mb

    I wouldn't worry too much how much RAM it takes. The system will manage when it takes too much

    A 40mb document wouldn't use any RAM!? Now the program that opens it would be a different story ^^
