I've had the z10 since over a month now. It's an awesome phone and i've really gotten used to it. I just wiped my z10 to prep the phone for being added to BES. Not really necessary but I wanted to start fresh.

I didn't realize how well the KB mapping worked until I wiped it clean and all my custom mapping were gone. I'm messing up letters all over the place while the kb re-learns my typing style. Today is better than yesterday. I'm a bit suprised at the difference. Maybe I'm a sloppy typer.

Kudos to bb on this awesome feature.

It was a highly touted feature of the BB10 keyboard. It remembers finger placement using heat mapping technology to learn where you press the keys most often for certain letters. It becomes more efficient at determining what letter you are trying to push if you are consistently pressing slightly off from the exact letter you pushed. So OP is making more mistakes because it has to relearn his personal key map. It's funny how most great things are the things people don't realize are really there until it isn't. Great post OP.
