So I been lusting after a Z30 for a while now - I need the larger battery size and since I live in a rental with no Internet, I prefer the bigger screen size as well - more like a tablet replacement.

Having owned the Z10 for 8 months now, I have realised that is actually an AWESOME phone!

The OS never slowed down yet (default BlackBerry apps only, no whatever droid), never crashed other than the new OS version and the 20% battery shutdown and never really complains either.

The screen lights up just right, switching of bluetooth, NFC and disabling the visual alerts (red / green) and eliminating the automated email pull feature saved me approx 25-30% so far.

The battery doesn't drain as fast if I only limit myself to making calls - say about 25 calls, each of 30-40 minutes duration on a wired hands free, but drains if I switch on the network radio and leave it at 3G for a couple of hours.

The functionality of the virtual keyboard is simply awesome and I quite enjoy the flicks and single handed gestures.

And can't wait to get a Z30 and then the Passport!

I am holding off for the classic personally. Jumped from Z10 to the Q and I just can not live without my keyboard.

But each to their own.
