I recently broke the camera on my old z10, so I switched to a new device. Z10STL100-3/10.2.1.1927

Both the old and new device are running this version. Everything works on the old device, but my new one has no clock app and the browser doesn't work.

So the clock doesn't come up when I try to set an alarm, and there's no app icon. The browser opens and all my bookmarks are there, but can't load pages. Only a black Window comes up when trying to navigate to a page.

    Any advice?

I should have made a meaningful thread title, but too late now.

Tried to security wipe and restore? Sounds like a bad install to me.

1927 is a developer OS so it doesn't have all the apps included in it. If you want to run that OS install 1925 which is the same build with all the apps included.

Or you could install 2141 as many others, including me, have done.

Ok, thanks. Is there any way to do that os switch and keep my device settings, calendar entries, etc.?

The calendar entries are the more important part, they're not kept anywhere but my device and would take forever to re-enter.

Make a backup with link and restore what you want. If you really want comfort, sync your calendar with something. Makes life a lot easier in my opinion.

You can also try Firechest (bb world) to backup and then restore the calendar. But I'd suggest using a few methods of backup.

Good luck. If you have the Calendar on the new device, then using Sachesi would preserve it.
