Congratulations! You're in for a real treat with .1925. I suggest you side load Snap (search for it on CB.com) and Amazon app store. You won't know what to do with yourself?!

I gave up with Snap. That method above seems the be the easiest. It worked flawlessly just now when I tested it by downloading SnapChat.

I haven't got a clue where the SnapChat concept appeal is though :s

Side loading does require a few more steps. Once you get the hang of it, it's really easy. I'll try to guide you through it because I think Snap is soooo worth it! :

    1. Install Google Chrome on your PC (if you don't already have it)
    2. From within the browser, go to the Chrome Web store and search for the PlayBook App Manager extension. Install it.
    3. On you device, enable development mode by going to "Settings, Security and Privacy, Development Mode". You will be required to enter your device password. Take note of IP address.
    4. Plug device into computer with development mode on.
    5. Download Snap bar file if not already done
    6. In Chrome, click on PlayBook app manager extension. Ignore warning & proceed anyway.
    7. Enter device password when prompted and login
    8. Drag and drop bar file into to upper right corner of Chrome
    9. Installation will complete in a matter of seconds. Status will appear in upper left corner of page.
    10. Unplug & enjoy.

It's incredibly easy once PlayBook App Manager is installed

    Good luck!

I'm jealous! I use my Z10 for work BYOD. So I just can't bring myself to take the chance as I have 10.2 running like a champ at the moment. I would be pissed if I tried to install a leak and something to do with my work side went wrong.

On the other hand that could occur with a official OS update too so I'm kinda stuck.

I had issues with 1055. When 1925 came out, I did not hesitate and did the leak install. The same with daughter's Z10. Works like a charm on both phones. Snap allows my daughter to download the free apps that she had already on her Android devices. Happy users.

Not hard at all. It's a simple side load. Follow the instructions for side loading and the file is in the Snap Thread. Snap will open a whole new world of apps. Download the file from Snap thread, follow the bouncing ball here http://apps.goodereader.com/playbook...-apps/?did=177 and side load snap to your Z10.

Congratulations to all of you who worked through the process. It isn't hard to do but you do need to chase down information in a few places. My experience with Z30+1925+1926+Snap is the actuality of awesomeness.
Glad to hear it. 1925 runs great on my Z10, but the battery life is not so great. Ordered a Z30. As soon as it comes in, I'm gonna install 1925 on there.

Wow so really they actually did a fully compatible easy download able OS update for BB, now there has to be a gateway app you used to access the Google play store right, because you cannot get Google Play app icon downloaded to the blackberry from blackberry app world

I finally took the plunge and decided to try it. By the way i know nothing about computers lol Manage to do it the first time no problem !! Didn't have the guts to try it with my white Z30 but did it on the white Z10. Once i was done i research a bit about Android apps so i downloaded 1 mobile market and so far only downloaded 1 app instagram and working Just can't believe how easy it is !!!
Seriously 10.2.1.1925 is awesome. This is such a big step ahead I'm really hoping that bb10 phones will start to sell with all these apps!!

Sry about the 100 thread about this but I'm feeling like a little kid lol. Cheers

Yea I was apprehensive about doing a leak once I got my z10 a couple months ago. I would do them all the time when I initial got my 9930. You do need to use caution though. No need to load the leak when it first drops. There are plenty of folks here with multiple devices or just want to be first who will load them immediately and report back. My thought is to give it a week and follow the threads to see how it goes. At that point everything as far as OS issues will have been discovered. You may still run into some things with apps though. I'm not one who is dependent on a bunch of extra apps so that's never really an issue for me.

When the official comes out, you can install that over WiFi as per usual as long as the release number is greater than the leak. My guess is that you'll be on the next leak by then though lol.
