I had the Q5 and just picked up the Z10. Fantastic phone, just some concerns/questions I have:

1. Is there a way to automatically hide the keyboard when you open a text message or BBM message? If I'm in the Hub and press a message, it'll load the message and automatically display the keyboard. It's sometimes hard to go back to the Hub and the left swipe doesn't always work, and I have to hide the keyboard to press the back button.

2. When loading text messages, it's not always buttery smooth when the texts are displayed (the animation is that the text kind of swipes down from the top). I'm running 10.1 on the Z10, does the 10.2 update this issue? I also notice that when opening apps and minimizing to active frames, I notice the transition sometimes is jaggy and not as smooth as it should be. Again, does 10.2 address this?

To hide the keyboard, either touch the body of the messages (above the keyboard), or hold down the space bar.

Or swipe down on the keyboard with two fingers.

You don't need to hide the keyboard to go back, just swipe left to right above the keyboard.

I'm with the OP - swiping doesn't always work.
