Making supper, using my Z to read the recipe online. knocked over a jug of water right onto it. Quickly grabbed it up and pulled the battery, dried it off and let is sit for a bit. Plugged the battery on and it is fine! Very happy that it held up to the abuse. But sad that I didn't have an excuse to buy a Z30.

If it is any consolation, it probably will be damaged soon enough. How long did you let it sit?

Since you said you let it sit for "a bit", I'm gonna go with mobile madness. It will fail.

It'll be fine. I've soaked electronics several times (e.g. big glass of water on a laptop keyboard and Bold dropped face down into a slushy puddle) and put them back into use before the magic 24 hour waiting period with no adverse effects.
I've had flour on my Playbook using it for recipes. I do try to keep it off to the side but have to swipe it awake periodically.
Glad to hear that you're BBY is still working!
You can put it in a jar of rice, and leave it there for some hours, it will absorb any humidity inside the phone, if you want to avoid future problem caused by the water
