I'm on AT&T, so I got the STL100-3. Had LTE since day one, so I know when I'm supposed to have it and when I'm not. Any ideas on what happen?

You installed an unofficial, unapproved OS.. that's what happened. Try installing it again or go back to an official OS.

Damn. I had some 10.1 leaks and didn't have any issues, was hoping the 10.2 would be the same. I'll try reloading it and if it doesn't work then I guess I'll step it down.

He said he lost LTE and he answered its because it is unapproved.
Just wondering if an unapproved OS could disallow you from data plans and BIS

How the heck did you decipher that from my post? BlackBerry 10 doesn't even use BIS to begin with and an OS leak would have no bearing on data plans at all.

yeah the elite OS crew is doing a great job, and I'm sure it is a fun hobby to play around with this stuff....but I LOVE my 10.1.0.4687 OS and I'm sticking with it (although that is exactly what I said about 10.1.0.2354...haha) Maybe after they unkink the kinks....some of the features of 10.2 sound superific

You're right about that, but I want my LTE. Things seem pretty quick regardless. Maybe I'm getting LTE but it's not showing up? I don't know. I also have an issue where sometimes my bottom three icons don't show up unless I have live tiles open and even then they aren't usable.

When I installed. 4543 I didn't show LTE. Didn't notice any speed difference though, but I was going to downgrade anyway, but about a week later it started showing LTE again. Maybe yours will too?

I've never had a loss of service on a BB7 or BB10 device using a leaked or non-carrier OS. My old Bold 9900 kept BIS even if it had an update from Vodafone Uzbekibekibekibekistanstan on it.

If you're up for a rollback, see if you have it back on a 10.1 release. Or maybe try to reload the radio .bar with Sachesi.

I went back to 10.1 and my LTE came back. Since then there have been two more leaks for 10.2. I hopped on this most recent leak, but it's the same thing. Now I'm on the newest 10.2 and have lost my LTE again..

This is exactly why I do not want to install leaks however tempting this is for a techie like me. My Z10 works flawlessly for seven months on official release SW (10.1.0.4181 now) and I hate to jeopardize this. I'd love to have 10.2 but I am willing to wait for it and continue enjoying my phone.
