Long story. I installed inst10 to try the whole thing. It was cool but not me. I had it maybe two weeks. Let the trial run out. I tried to I install it. The app is gone but it's still in the hub and in BlackBerry World it says it's still installed. It will not open and it has errors when trying to delete or uninstall.

    Help?

Use Accounts Cleaner app from bbw to clear it from your hub.

Go to blackberry world and swipe down from the top - Settings - General - Refresh BlackBerry World. BlackBerry World will close and inst10 will be gone.

    Have several times.

Go to blackberry world and swipe down from the top - Settings - General - Refresh BlackBerry World. BlackBerry World will close and inst10 will be gone.

Interesting suggestion. Just tried this. It definitely doesn't show as "installed" in BBW anymore, but the HUB is still showing it. I'll try a reboot. If it doesn't work I'll install/remove it again. If that doesn't work, I'll try the account cleaner idea from above.

    Thanks a million guys.

Alright, so here was the fix. What bb8900edit posted above was step one. HUGE step here.

The next step. Reboot the phone.

I still had the inst10 hub. Go to BBW and reinstall it.

it didn't actually install; it was broken still.

Reboot phone. Click "delete" from the home screen.

Then go to BBW and "delete".

BAM, it's gone. Thank you so much guys.

    Sorry for the delayed response.

Ok so inst10 actually came out with a recent update that in itself makes inst10 far more stable.

    Also,
It's critical that when you remove inst10 and it doesn't remove from the hub that you go to BlackBerry World and refresh your apps. then it should remove it. If not, reboot the phone and its gone. I actually tested my writeup twice as of late as I did several install / removes of inst10 and my writeup worked every time. Reboot if my writeup doesn't successfully remove the hub notifications.

I am on 10.3.2.2639 and the issue is still there.

Inst10 still appears in my BlackBerry Hub after uninstalling Inst10. I could only hide it by choosing "Show in Hub Only".

I've tried "Accounts Cleaner" to remove all Inst10 accounts, but it doesn't help. After a couple of reinstall and delete, I now ended up having two Inst10 in Hub Management...I wish I have never tried Inst10.
