Yes, even with the advanced camera features that I think were not in the previous version.

Yes you do have to renew the token every 30 days. You do not need to ask BB for new keys, you just need to re-create the debug token bar and sideload it. Simple as that.

Actually my debug token expired and I just checked and uploaded on Instagram and it still works. I think the purpose of the debug token was to convert into a Bar

I sideloaded two versions and like I said it now allows me to view videos but I cant take or upload pics; Im on 10.2 now and just wondering, are your pics visible cause some ppl post that theirs have not been appearing due to this whole 3rd party thing thats going on

Sorry to hear that. Yea I'm on 10.1. Maybe because you are on 10.2 likely has something to do with it. I can take pix but obviously cannot upload video to Instagram.

3.4.4 will NOT work after Aug 6 2013.

I have it and under the heart icon it says this.

I made a thread about this but it was closed cuz it was being discussed here.

Obviously it is not and it's a separate issue.

Just to summarize and help everyone understand
IG will continue to work for BB10. It just depends if you are too lazy to figure out how to get it working

IF you are
1. on 10.2, you can sideload 4.0+ and it will work. Nothing is preventing IG from working (810 users need to load 663 runtime in order to upload pictures, but this is a runtime problem, not IG)
2. on 10.1, you can use debug and sideload 4.0+ and it will work. Nothing is preventing IG from workng
3. on 10.1, and you decide that debug is too complicated for you, then after Aug 6th, IG will stop working for you

It is the same issue. Don't say things that you don't fully understand
IG is changing the API used to bock 3rd party apps from uploading and using IG
The same old API is used in the older versions of IG, which is why you are getting the error
The newer 4.0.0+ versions use a different API, so if you sideload that, it is absolutely fine

The exact same thing happened to me, I think it was Sunday it happened. My friend txted me and asked what happened to a picture I just posted.. and I was like what? It's there.. then she thought it was her app. So then 2 more people txted me it on Monday and Tuesday. There were about 10-12 pics missing from the screenshots they sent me. I got fed up, signed out of the app, and then it wouldn't let me back in. Had to delete it, re sideload it, then log in the back way using Facebook to reset my password. After a few hours it seemed to fix! HOWEVER.............. I then get this memo in the like/cmt tab saying if you would like to continue using Instagram, you need to update it using the google play store before August 6th. (I reinstalled July 31st - so one week)...

I really don't want my Insta to be gone after Monday. I don't want to get rid of my BB. Someone needs to fix this!
