When the Z20 was first released the camera was dark, but that was improved in very early OS updates. What OS version are you on?

Actually its not dark but its a bit contrasty...

OP.. did you try the metering things while clicking photos on your device..it is a great powerful tool...you can control the lighting with the help of that...

It really all depends on the environment you took the photo in

We'd need to see the image before we can help - for example, if you take a photo in a dark room then the image will be rubbish but that goes for all phones

Please post an image of the photo you are talking about and then we can have a better idea of what could solve it
