Probably the shipping number could be much higher than 2.7 million, and the share price could be above $15. Just saying...

Except I don't have any reboot issues. I got the impression that was happening to phone using "leaked" OSs.

Been on a leaked OS since I got my Z10 with no reboots.

I agree if there was reboots it would have been a little better for BlackBerry, hopefully the a10, q10, and q5 don't.

I've have the Z10 for a while now, and reboots has never been an issue (I've literally had 3 since purchasing and now the OS I am on fixed this problem)

Same. I've had two since release day here in Canada. Hasn't been an issue. Also, if it wasn't rebooting ppl would've found something else to complain about....... like battery life or no gorilla glass or camera or. oh wait.

Complainers like to complain. No way around it.

End of day, what's done is done. BlackBerry learned from it and moved on. I suggest the op does the same.

Have reboots still, not as much as before with 10.2. But it still occurs randomly at the most inappropriate time.

Hard to demo and show off BB10 when a random reboot is happening.

Aren't you accidently shutting het z down in your pocket? I had reboots with 10.1 stopped since using the leaks. Haven't happened since. Position of the power button causes 'reboot' in my pocket sometimes. Sitting down squeezes my pocket making my hip and leg functioning as button press. With case it seldom happens, without almost every time I sit down... Difference is a full black screen vs a screen asking for a pin.

I never had reboots on 10.0 except once but since the jump to 10.1 it's been nothing but stress.. I've tried so many different OS's, with each time doing a security wipe before and after. Then use intouch contacts so I don't restore corrupt settings..

Fair enough it doesn't happen to the majority of users, and I'm happy about that as that would really be the nail in the coffin for BlackBerry.. but there are just so many issues that users on this forum are experiencing.

Don't get me wrong, I loved my z10 and still like it. I don't understand why the Canadian carriers are not releasing the latest update that reportedly fixed the random reboots. I had 3 reboots last night since I put it on the charger.

Because of the issue, I no longer recommend the phone to friends. I don't know how many people are doing the same thing.

In addition, how many potential buyers got scared away when they came to this forum to do their research?

I have no other issues with the z10, the app problem never bothered me. What I am trying to say is, that a golden opportunity for BlackBerry to turnaround was blown away by this issue.

Some will say shut up, can't you install a leaked OS update and be happy? But seriously, what is the percentage of BlackBerry users that is willing to spend the time and effort to do this? And to do this at their own risk?

It wouldn't have helped at all.

Most people have never even heard of the Z10, much less the reboots.

    Some? A few? Maybe.

Of greater concern is that people disengage their brains and buy into this mindless following of conspiratorial drivel.

Get a grip and reason things out in a logical manner. BlackBerry went to market with a product that had/has flaws. One of those flaws was a few thousand handsets that randomly would reboot themselves. It has been documented and addressed.

I've had two Z10's: one rebooted and one didn't. No conspiracy. It just happens.
