Certainly would stick with new BB non-consumer/biz phones.

If BB went under TODAY, I'd stock more Q10s and P'9982s. If it must happen, I'd prefer it be after the P'9983 hits the market :P

Firstly, I'd buy a stash of Q10's to last me the next 10 years. After that maybe a Ubunutu, a Firefox or a Sailfish phone.

As others have said, stock up on those BB10 phones (a few q10s, z10s and z30s). But if I absolutely had to pick another platform, I may pick Firefox OS or sailfish OS as of right now.

Stock up on BlackBerry phones??? So while everyone else has a 5G, super thin,WiFi-A/C, Bluetooth5, and hopefully 1 week battery life, and who knows what new tech... you guys will stick to devices for the next two or three years, that were not even flagship technology when you bought them?

I hope that BlackBerry keeps making devices, I hope there is an replacement for the Z10 and I hope that consumers still can buy them. But I'm not going to "stock-up" on something that has an expatriation date the way technology does.

Windows & Nokia sound like the best match for me...

Motorola bag phone. At the end of the day it makes phone calls. No overpriced plans etc.. No wonder cell companies killed it off..
At the end of WHICH day? In this millenium, a bag phone wouldn't be making any phone calls, as they were all analog, and analog cell service hasn't existed in the US in well over a decade.

It's likely that the first VoLTE phones will be released later this year, which will begin a transition that, 3-4 years from now, will result in all phones in use today becoming obsolete...

No Google Windows or iOS device not especially after all the governmental debacles that have been going lately. Maybe the Nokia E7

If that happens I'm going back to iphone 4s I do not like the 5. Funny how I used my friend's iphone last night and I can't even type fast it just seems odd. She was laughing because it was me who got the iphone first before and now I seem awkward using hers.

Lenovo are about to release a high spec LTE phone that also features dual sim. Apparently it's being launched first in Asia but when it gets to the UK it could be worth a look
Interesting. Dual Sim from Levono would sure look nice near the new Levono Yoga 2 Ultrabook. I'm going to buy one

That would be the day of the apocalypse... at least for me: my very first mobile was the BlackBerry Pearl and I've been a BlackBerry user since.

All I know is that I won't ever buy an apple product... they're vulnerable, outdated quickly and it seems that you always have to buy new accessories, because the last Gen isn't compatible with new one.

The only other device I could stomach would be Windows Phone. So some Lumia or other.

At least it would be a familiar developer experience (I write stuff for Windows as it is)

Undecided between sony or samsung. Before blackberry, I've used many ericsson/sony-ericsson phones. I heard the new phones have very brittle screens. My friend's 1.5 year old daughter cracked his sony's screen with a simple bite! Samsung has a history of battery problems to.

Windows Phone is just as restricted. What are you talking about?

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
I was thinking the same thing. These windows phones might even be more restrictive.

I'd probably get a HTC one X+ or maybe a galaxy note 3. Don't really see some people's problem with android /: the interface can be a little annoying when you want to perform simple tasks (Main reason why I love my Z10, everything is just so simple) , but that's the only problem I actually have with the android os, I'm not really bothered by security concerns.. Never had a problem before.

I have to say the Samsung Galaxy S4 or S5 when it comes out. Those phones are great.... Nexus 5 would be my second choice... but I hope BlackBerry keeps making phones for many generations to come!
