    - it is a waste of time asking questions that run parallel to the "Bad Girls gone Reporting" group.

    - Apple makes the iPhones for Girls, and kids, but that doesn't stop adults/teens from buying it?

    - If Samsung made an iPhone, would you still buy an iPhone? (or have you purchased an iSung yet?)

BlackBerry still makes BlackBerry, no ifss...

    Foxconn will also make BlackBerry.
    Foxconn will also make iPhones.

iPhone will be iPhone, and Samsung will be iSung, and BlackBerry will be BlackBerry.

Buy what you like, buy what you need.

    - personal opinion.

I'll stick on to BlackBerry10.. I should buy the Z30 or Q30 or the slider model of BB10.

For sicurity and long battery as my reason why I keep on with BB 10 and you don't have to buy or download free any antivirus for your mobile phone (especially BlackBerry 10 version).

I love the new type of technique on Touch and Keyboard and the whole combination of it. Very slick, fast and easy on all BB10 OS's.

Just a disclaimer for all you "BlackBerry board members" replying with "ferver" to this thread.... This is HYPOTHETICAL and I am just curious! Geez

I'm not saying BlackBerry WILL run out of business BUT as long as a company is in business, it CAN go out of business... So just vote or not at all...

    Cheers

I would just buy the one they made for "non-regular" consumers and keep moving.

Maybe better add that we can't choose to use our current BlackBerry phones or stock up on them because many (including me) would answer that. =D
I'd try Sony Xperia or Jolla. I haven't used Jolla before, so if I don't like it, Sony Xperia then. I was a Sony fan before BlackBerry so I'll just go back to Sony. That said, I still like Sony the way it is though, just don't have the luxury to buy one.

A blackberry. I completely feel the underlying message is that Chen is not going to waste time and resources on items like a media player, theme ect ect ect.

Posted by my device of choice. Might be a BlackBerry, might not be. It is of concern to you.

Z10 users (and all BB10 users) if BlackBerry were to somehow IMMEDIATELY run out of business or stop making phones for regular consumers, what phone would you start using? My friend asked me this yesterday and I didn't have an answer... maybe a Samsung Galaxy 4 for me?

    What do you guys say?
A blackberry… My phone was built to last until something better comes along…lol

If BlackBerry went out of business and at some point my current BlackBerry smartphone ceased functioning I would likely buy a Samsung Note. If BlackBerry simply ceased selling consumer smartphones I would buy a corporate BlackBerry smartphone.

If BlackBerry would stop making phones (still a long way to get to that point) , I would get either the top tier Windows phone or top iPhone if they are still popular at that time.

They're NOT going out of business and they're NOT going to stop making smartphones.
And you're not reading the thread properly. This isn't a question of going out of business it's a question of future phones being available to the general public. Although the idea has never been tried before by major manufacturers but has for secure phones for highest level of governments for many countries including the USA - which Obama is famous for refusing - BlackBerry can quire easily make future phones specific to corporations via online order only now using BB10 since only BBM uses the NOC so no more carrier specific apn is required other than that! Thi would also mean very efficient and timely manufacturing by foxcon specifically for bulk orders by corporations whom pay for say 1000 - 5000+ orders of BB10 devices and BES10 installation and Cal Licenses. Meaning BlackBerry places orders for production only what they need and sell accordingly to a specific amount = very efficient!! Less cost and cost is all coated only to a specific quarter no overlapping.

I'd purchase a used or LNIB Q10 off local sites and continue to use it but shortly after may need to goto iPhone because Apple does care and openly fights for their users security or personal information. They initiated the fight against the NSA before Motorola Google and Samsung did - that makes major statement and stance in my mind!

No more bull**** - if not then I'll purchase an Ericsson T-39m for basic calls and text; loved that phone or maybe a Nokia E71/72 or some other S60 device of old. I'm not convinced of Windows Mobile 8; I'll see what 9 delivers.

Lenovo are about to release a high spec LTE phone that also features dual sim. Apparently it's being launched first in Asia but when it gets to the UK it could be worth a look

I currently have a Z10 so with Z30 being the supposedly last touchscreen BB10 high-end device, I would buy it next with no questions asked. After Z30 dies, maybe a newest Nokia Lumia or something else purely awesome comes next in several years.
