After talking to a lot of older blackberry users. They don't want bb10 because there is no track pad. I love my z10 but after thinking, I believe that adding a track pad might make it that much better?? Especially in bringing legacy customers to BB10. What do you guys think?

I was reluctant about bb10 because of no track pad coming from 9900. Now, I have to use a 9900 for work from time to time as well as an iPhone 4s and I am constantly swiping on those two devices like a mad man.

Makes me believe that track pad is dead.

Trackpad would be helpful with editing on a Q10 but that's about it. Everything is touchscreen now, Trackpad would just be viewed as a regressive feature.

They're better off walking into a carrier shop/asking a friend and using the phone itself. Then they can be really sure if they need a trackpad. If you ask me, the trackpad is dead. The trackpad remains dead. And we have killed it.

I really wanted a track pad on the BB10's... But now with the Z10, I really don't miss it, however, I would like then to bring it back. I do think it made things easier for me. With the new selection circle they've given us, editing is easier than before, and easier than any other all touch device I've used with my fat thumbs, but it was still easier with track pad.

On my Touch, Type, Together 9900, the TrackPad rocked AND it kept my screen much cleaner. Nice mix of screen navigation, cursor placement, menu navigation via TrackPad and touch screen for larger buttons, flick scrolling, and other touch friendly uses. Can't see how BB10 suffers or would be any different on the Q10 if TP was present. Concur no TP on the Z10 for market's sake, although I would personally love it.
