Hey, I have an idea on how to move all the z10 unsold inventory. Create an accessory identical to the q10's keyboard. Design it to snap overtop of the z10 screen or wrap around the lower half of the screen. Connect to the z10 via bluetooth. Design the OS to resize the screen to fit above the keyboard when connected via bluetooth to this accessory. BOOM. Instant swap between full qwerty and full screen. Just like the torch. Bundle with the z10 and resell back at original msrp. Value restored.

I just opted, after lengthy consideration, to get a replacement z10 over a q10. Tough call but the screen real estate killed the q10 for me. But I really miss a physical keyboard after 6 months on the z10's touch keyboard. I'd buy such an accessory for $50 or even $75.

The z10 is not thinner than the 9780 which had a brilliant keyboard. So slipping a keyboard over the z10's lower half would be no problem at all. Could even build in a trackpad to satisfy even the most fringe bb7 loyalists.

Q10 screen is too small for a good browsing /reading experience. But z10 keyboard is not accurate enough. If I'm at work I'll clip on the keyboard so I can fire off emails without looking like I cannot spell correctly. But when I'm at home reading crackberry posts I'll remove the key board enjoy the big screen. It's why the torch was so well liked.

I suggested something similar. It's too late for the current Zs, but if they could make an accessory that didn't need to be charged separately, I'm definitely in.

They said we couldn't fly.......soo if he says a keyboard could be clipped on the z10......I'm not saying it's not going to be a crazy idea but I support it..... (y) it also makes perfect sense...if I want to see a movie I switch to full 1280x768 to watch movie on my z10 but if I have ti text a document or messages I clip on my physical keyboard!!
So he has a point.....p.s My z10 keyboard is already as fast as the q10s and I love the swipe up gestures.....
