It was too advanced so BlackBerry removed it to dumb down the OS...you know "industry standard". See call screen as previously dumbed down feature.

I don't. I always use the vol buttons to take pics. Makes them much sharper because you don't move the phone when pressing the trigger

I stabbed my screen 5 or 6 times when I first tried it after 10.3 until I realized there was a shutter button. It will take some getting use to. But maybe fewer pictures of my feet!

I hope so because it was handy when using the phone one handed to be able to tap anywhere. Finding the button is a pain sometimes.

I miss it too. Sometimes I'd be hitting the screen trying to take a picture, and then when it dawned on me that I have to hit a button now, I'd have to reposition my grip to get to it. Oh well. Will get used to it eventually I guess.

I mostly use the volume button to take the picture because I get a steadier photo. But there's the odd time when I need to tap the screen in some random spot to take the photo depending on how I'm holding the phone.

BlackBerry is doing a great job of screwing things up we've come to like about the OS.

Michael Clewley once said about the new call answer screen "Sorry, it had to be done". Why? All you've done is screw up something that was a little unique while being perfectly easy to use. I hate the way BlackBerry is trying to make BB10 look like Crapdroid.

I will miss this feature to when I take the step up to 10.3. But it will be a lot easier for other people to use when they take my phone to take a picture. They get so confused with there being no shutter button on-screen

It's a good feature, but I never really utilized it because in my opinion, pressing the volume button is much better, phone's much stable.
