When I sync z10 to XP desktop, I'm forced to lose any items that are older than about 6 weeks. Why on earth is that, and can that be changed?
I'm using the original native calendar.
    Thanks, Bill D

Not quite, at least BB10 is sort of maintained, while support for XP stopped years ago. Don't you care about security?

    Not really.

BB10 is still supported by the manufacturer. Windows XP is not.

    Well, let's see...

Windows XP was released in the summer/fall 2001 (RTM, then general release). Mainstream support ended 8 years later. Extended support ended 13 years after release.

Do you really think BB10 support is going to last anywhere near that long? I think it will be a surprise if it lasts 5 years.

While still using XP is hard to believe for most of us, I'd be surprised if it mattered in this case. Unfortunately, Bill has not provided sufficient information, like:

    - Is this a new issue or has it always done this?

    - What version OS10?

    - What specifically do you mean by "sync to desktop?" To BB Link? To MS Outlook (version?) or.....?

    Thanks for the follow-up .
    I'm using 10.3.2.556
My issue is when using BB link. Towards the end of the sync, I am shown a list of past calendar events . If I want to continue the sync, these items will be deleted.
    So I lose them.
This has always been the case . I've just accepted it all along.

    Bill
