Just advice a lot of people are having charging problems. Because u don't train you battery you need to let it charge to 100% then let it run to like 10% or red then train it like that I've realized the battery remembers how u train it so try it and you will be good

Lithium batteries shouldn't behave like that though.

It got rid if the old "memory " on older ni cad batteries.

I believe lithium likes to charge with small charge cycles at higher % levels.

I also agree with Chanlion that lithium-ion batteries have no memory or need for conditioning.

I thought that what was happening with the "conditioning" process today wasn't actually conditioning the battery, but allowing the software of the phone to correctly assess the battery level.

For example, I usually charge my battery at around 50%. Two years ago, I noticed that it seemed like the phone would get down to 50% faster and faster but if I let it go below 50%, the last 30% would last a long time (with no power saving software on). I usually did a full discharge once every 1-2 months in order for the software to relearn the battery levels. I haven't noticed this with recent batteries/phones though, so maybe something has changed from two years ago.

Lio batteries have no memory so there is no relevance to trying to create one, but as others have said try not to discharge completely. I "try" to not let mine go below 10%.

Only other tip I give is use a slow charger if you charge overnight. There is no rush when you are sleeping and the slower charge has less chance to generate heat which isn't one thing Lio batteries hate. I use a 550mah charger with my dock

Please, anyone who reads this, don't drain your batteries. Li-Ion batteries like being fully charged.
