how long ago did you update to 10.2.1? Your charge/discharge rates are very erratic. Also tell us what PIM % is over 24Hrs. Do you have a lot of emails/social media accounts?

OK, we have threads already to complain about battery life. This issue isn't a change or something different, please refer to existing threads.

Wow that a crazy PIM reading. Are you constantly receiving messages? Even if so, that's super high.

Have you tried restarting fresh (security wipe and no restoring a backup)?

That is not normal with your PIM services. You have something configured wrong.

Does creating a thread take up valuable crack berry space by making a thread that just so happens to be the same title as another one?

    Who cares.

Hey- I would take the guy's advice on checking out the other threads, but do you have the BB charger bundle? It's super awesome, maybe the best accessory you can buy for the Z or Q. It's an extra battery in a thin, small case that is plugged into a wall, car battery, or USB outlet and charges the battery. You can then swap batteries with your phone or use it as an external charger.

I swap out the battery on my Z once or twice per day. I also have an external Amzer csse for the Z that goes on OVER the battery case, adds a little bulk and is actuated by the press of a button.

    Just a couple ideas.

My battery drained fast the first two days after updating but after that it has gotten better than with 10.1
Perhaps the indexing, etc... theories are true.

Delete all your accounts, email, Facebook, Twitter, etc, and readd them. That pim service percentage is astronomical.

Just went from 100% down to 61% in 45 minutes!

This update I'd ridiculous! In another hour or so, I'll be needing another freakin' battery!

    OMG BlackBerry fix this crap!

@TightDebbie. I'm not even sure how your device manager is showing the last three charge cycles even though it is set to show from last charge only. The only thing I can think of is either a software issue or a battery issue. Perhaps actually draining your battery until the phone shuts itself off may remedy this. You should only need to do that once. Other than that reinstall your OS maybe.

Something is obviously not configured properly on your phone. Other than the battery taking a day or two to settle in after the update my battery is fine and I can get 12+ hours with moderate usage on a full charge.

I would suggest you do as suggest and delete your account one at a time and test or just wipe the restore phone good luck.

Even your display % and system % are waaaaaay off. There is definitely something screwy with your phone.

Not hot. I think I know what it was. One poster said to delete all the accounts associated with the Z10, then Re add them. I did just that, and set the sync time frame to 30 minutes for each and every part of each account. I had three email accounts, and one Facebook account.

Here is my screen shot since I charged the battery this morning. Look below.

Glad you found the issue. Now you can pay it forward for someone else with this type of problem. It is one of the great things about coming to CrackBerry for issue help; you get answers fast. Sure beats going to your carrier support.

Why would you want to set the Sync for every 30 minutes?!?!?!

All my accounts are set to sync every 24 hrs!

Sync intervals does not affect receiving the notifications/emails etc.

Set sync intervals to 24 hrs!!!
