i`ll get this thing started then lol.
Got mine at the London launch event, now my first impressions are very influenced by the fact i had a dev alpha, so the UI and stuff isnt `new` to me, but this phone makes the dev alpha A seem slow, the keyboard is insanley fast and very accurate.
As for the hardware, i really like it although of course its waaay too soon for any battery life comparisons, plus im sure i`ll kill the battery every few hours with the old `new phone syndrome` kicking in and playing with every feature as we all do with a new toy :)
For me the nicest touch which i havent seen anyone bring up, is if your playing your music but in ANY other app, simply tap the volume key and it bring a on screen popup which allows you to skip tracks. kinda like what you got if you tapped the play icon in the taskbar on the playbook, but no gestures and stuff needed.
Overall though very impressed, sure theres little bits which could be enhanced, but im sure we could say that of any OS out there.
oh and just thought it was worth pointing out the `top album` on BB World?? yea, alicia keys girl on fire. your supprised really ent ya :rotfl:
As a US subscriber, it will probably be brutally painful to browse through this thread daily, but browse I will :D
Come to Canada to get your Z10! You'll be the envy of all!
But seriously, I feel for you guys... you guys who are in iPhone land but still clamor for BB... that's true dedication! Don't worry... March will come faster than you think!
they ship to the US right?
I thought I saw an option to turn that on in a leaked slide showing the settings screen... It would be annoying if they did remove that.
Do not open until March.
Off to buy mine today, in white and SIM-free for 479.95 at Phones4u stores.
Will report back when acquired
Just picked mine up :)

Picking mine up after work tonight....in white just like my GS3 :D

Picked mine up this morning sim free from Carphone warehouse. Works just as a BB should but a big difference from years of physical keyboards. Just charging and playing now.
It does if you enable Music Shortcuts in the System Volume settings.
ooo thankyou :) i left my house at 8 yesterday morning to go to the event and got home at half 11 at night, so i`ll blame that miss on the fact i was half asleep lol
but maybe should be on as default lol
Thats a good tip, I had missed that one too. I also started up this thread, so if you find tips like that feel free to share them here too: http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...-stuff-765658/
Yep, picked mine up this morning from CPW too. Really very impressed so far, but then I knew I would be.
Bye bye iPhone 5!
Now, off to explore this beauty...
Question: it's with LTE or without ? And any tips on CPU model ?
I can't see online that phones4u are selling the Z10 sim free, can only see it sim free on carphone warehouse? Phones 4 u are only offering it with contracts online? How are you getting it sim free?
OK... I have been really hoping that the 'password' options for BB10 have expanded. Having to type in a whole password versus a pattern or number code isn't fast enough to unlock my phone IMO. Can anyone tell me if that part has been updated?
All the UK models are LTE ready... no idea about CPU though, except it's fast!
Everywhere I've seen said 100% LTE ready and that it's running a dual-core 1.5Ghz processor.
What carriers up there is like Sprint??
I believe that all of the non North American Z10s are using the TI OMAP.
