I believe that all of the non North American Z10s are using the TI OMAP.

Incorrect, all models with LTE support are using the Qualcomm chipset.

One quick point, shouldn't this thread be labelled 'I got my z10 so why hasn't crackberry added it to the selectable devices in your profile'

got my new Z10 today from the EE shop round the corner from my office - they had only been given 2 in last night's delivery (and i work in the City of London where you would think they would need a lot more than that today) and I bought the first one - cost me �30 as an upgrade & �41 per month for unlimited calls & texts & 1GB data. not having the easiest time setting everything up so far, weird that my blackberry.orange.co.uk email address can't be supported on it....

They all have the Snapdragon S4 processor at 1.5 Ghz. I believe the pasword for unlock is changed so you can use the short characters like iPhone.

Wooo hooooooo.......got my Z10 today ........very impressed with everything so far.......getting used to the gestures although I accidentally keep over swiping a little but it is only my first day. Loving the look of BBM, had to add a few friends with legacy o.s devices so haven't yet tried out the video and screen sharing options , overall I am loving the screen (absolutely gorgeous) and the time shift.

Well so far I am very impressed, very fast and smooth. I find the desktop software painfully slow on my macbook pro and I can't get the calendar to link to my Google apps calendar. Other than that it seems pretty damn good. I have been using it solidly for the last four hours after charging it fully and it has about 70-75% battery left. First ime I have used a touch screen keyboard since the iphone 4 and I am blown away by how easy it is to type for a physical keyboard lover like me.

It does if you enable Music Shortcuts in the System Volume settings.

oh thank goodness. Being able to skip tracks by holding down the volume key is one of the best features on BlackBerry's. I hate listening to music on my iPhone because you have to turn on your phone to skip tracks.

Be careful with that. Carriers use all different bands and frequencies so make sure they match and some carriers won't allow a phone not branded by them.

I was initially interested in the Q10...

A discussion on this forum made me unsure as to whether my emails from my own domain (hosted on a dedicated cPanel server) will be instantly delivered on BB10 like how it worked through BIS with T-mobile on my old BB9700 that was tragically lost a couple of years ago

I need a second line, I think it may have to be the Z10. I'm just in an unsure motion at the moment.

They will both handle email the same. You could have that account brought into outlook.com and still send and receive as the old Addy.
