hello

i have a problem with my z10 since updating to the official 10.2

i don't get a notification in the hub for the application that i have installed, when an update is available, not even one of them.

why is that and what can i do.?

Do you mean an update for the app or an update that you recieve from the app (ex. a text)? If it's an update from the app, some apps have the ability while some don't. What apps are you having problems with? What os are you running?

If it's to update the app, it should show up and bring you to blackberry world (the app store) for you to update.

I also had some issues in the last few days, all of the sudden it's notified me an update to an app, so I think it's the BBW server not pushing it out. I have however rebooted my phone a few times. Using the volume rockers, by pressing and holding them until the blue BB logo shows up.

i am running so 10.2.0.1791 the latest official version, no leaks.

docs to go for example, i have found out from crackberry that an update is available.
flashon, seriesfinale, search for imdb. etc. none of them. is not a big problem, but is annoying to search in bb word, app by app to see if an update is available.
i was use to the alert in the hub.

You do not need to search app by app, you click the all button in the bottom left corner and change to My World, then My Apps & Games > Check for Updates.

Sometimes it is a bit slow pushing out the notifications of updates.

This seems to be some sort of ongoing problem. Sometimes I get notifications to update but when I go into BB World there are no updates available. However if you go to the app page, you will see the "download" button available. Sometimes - as you mention here - I only know something has been updated because I see it here on CB. It's annoying, but livable.

thank you oystersourced for the tip, i didn't know that, i have found 2 more updates, one for bb world itself. but i still want my hub alert, maybe time will fix it.

We found a major case of "Lazy Reader Syndrome" going around... but I've gotta say:
This one beats 'em all! "LAZY (Period) DISORDER!!"

.. and by the way,
If you're having trouble with the "Official" update,
Then you should try updating to the latest "Leak!"
(Warning! Some physical intervention may be required)

Now i have a new problem, i was alerted for an update for BlackBerry maps and BlackBerry games, now i can't open both, and it keps telling me i have to update games even if i had it for so many times... i use BlackBerry maps, what can i do?
