I have a new BB Z10 and I am trying desperately to configure it to my bluetooth in my new 2014 BMW 328x drive. Grr!! Nobody can assist me. I have phone & texts coming thru in my car on my screen but....not emails. It is checked off that emails should....be connected but it wont connect.

Also.....why doesn't blackberry link work to save/back up my contacts. It says device software issue. Is this where I need the new 10.2 update???

Anyone that can HELP. I would be most appreciative.

You might try deleting and then re adding your email account on the phone.
Do emails come up on the phone normally?

Install 10.2.1.xxx leak, there they updated bluetooth drivers. For contacts install Intouch app from bb world

Intouchapp sucks. It deleted some of my contacts after I backed them up. I thought there something wrong. So, I deleted it and re installed it. The same thing happened. I deleted the app again and this time it was for good.

I'd suggest, updating blackberry link to the newest version to solve the software issue.

I had issues with my Z10 and Audi, upgrading to 10.2 has solved this.

I would also start with the 10.2 upgrade. I contains many bugfixes and improvements and I would never go back to 10.1 again.

Previous posts has also shown 10.2 does detection of car type and BB10 showing logo of that manufactor (e.g. Audi, Mercedes etc) so it seems they have been working specifically on car integration.

I have the exact same car as the OP. Text and emails are coming through under 10.1 and 10.2. Maybe try re-adding the email account.

Yes....emails do come up just fine on the phone just not in the car

I've had no issues with it. Since you're so against it maybe you can name an alternative.
