    Starting yesterday, I can send but not receive emails.
    My email server is Verizon.
    My phone provider is AT&T.
    Emails do show up on my PC. I use Outlook.

    Unfortunately, I'm unable to add it back. The message I'm getting is "the settings are wrong or the server is temporarily offline. ". So now I can't receive or send.
    Fortunately, my calendar still syncs with my PC outlook calendar.

    Did you enable 2FA on your Verizon account? If so, you will need an app-specific password.

    Two factor authentication. It's added security provided by most email services.

    I did not get to use your valuable information.
    I went to "add account" / " enter the email address for your existing account " / then a brief wait :"Looking up connection information "/ "enter password " / Then bingo ! I'm back in business !
    I never came to a page where I could enter information manually .
    Earlier I regretted deleting my email account. But now that it's back, I think that re-adding the account may have helped get it back working. Or maybe it was just a server issue all along.

    No email on my Z10 again.
    Stopped getting email last Friday May 8. This is the 2nd time in the last 3 weeks or so.
    I deleted the email account and have tried re-entering it dozens of times. Have tried POP and IMAP options - sometimes with AOL.com, sometimes with Verizon.net - always get a message to the effect of "Server not responding, check settings and try again".

    The settings I'm using are from screen shots from when the email was working. Have also tried Conite's settings chart.
    I don't think my settings are wrong.
    I suspect the problem is with either AT&T (my provider), Verizon (my email server), or AOL (which is perhaps my real server).

    Frustrated obviously. I don't know enough to troubleshoot this ... . For instance, can I try to add this account to my wife's Samsung phone (in order to rule out a problem with my Z10)?
    If I hadn't deleted the email account it would probably have just fixed itself. Or not. Trouble is, I don't want to wait much longer.
