Would someone be able to give me detailed instructions on how to "Reboot" my phone. I use quotes because I don't even know if that is the correct term. I just want to go back to the state the phone was when I bought it. Sorry but I don't know how to do this.

If you just need a simple restart just hold the power button until it restarts.

Unless he has loaded a Hybrid or Leak! Security wipe will still leave the installed OS in place. May even have to download his original OS.

I was having some issues with my contacts and would like to start adding them from scratch. I don't have many so I don't mind doing this. Thanks for the help! I'm scared because knowing me I'd burn my house down if I tried this myself!

Then just do a security wipe from your device, will do the trick. Go to settings/security and privacy/security wipe. Might take 15 mins or so. Your device will as bought.... no apps or settings
