Must be something stupid, but I was able activate time shift only once. Usually I push and but no picture, less animated ones get saved.

When you activate the camera, click the camera icon in the upper right corner. You get three options from there: Timeshift, Video or standard camera. Are you selecting the first option?

What is Time Shift? Is it somewhat similar to a burst shot, only in the case of the Z10 you only get 3?

Thanks. Yes I selected the face to enable time shift, but instead of push and hold (incorrect) you have to double tap in order to start taking picture.

Weird thing happened. I took a picture of my 10 year old kid with time shift. He blinked and I started to rewind...I kept rewinding and all of a sudden the picture was of him as a baby. Had no idea it could go back in time like that.

Just put the front facing cam on.. look at your phone and make weird faces. Once you take the picture, just laugh at your face on the picture since you can't use time shift haha. Assuming you made a funny weird face you can't change.

Anyway for real, just hit the camera icon at the top right, choose time shift, take picture, click on detected faces to change time, click on face again to save the time shift.. Keep doing for other faces then press check mark at top corner to save

Lol i used Burst Mode / Night Mode and took some pictures of lightning... about 800 photos in a minute
