    wow that is sick..

I'm glad i'm not a complete ****** / nerd / *********; or else i'd go write some lame inaccurate article about how "complicated" the Z10 is.
in other words, I appreciate Crackberry forums!
wish I could say the same about others...

Just a question, is there a help application on the Z10?

Is it in the application if you search it?

In the camera app. The file it gets saved to is pictures on the device. Currently screen shots won't save to your sd card

Actually..by using FILE MANAGER you can copy (or MOVE) any screenshots/pictures from DEVICE to SDCARD...
Just load up the FILE MANAGER
    select DEVICE
    select CAMERA
Highlight the 1st pic - the slider comes out..then highlight each picture to move using SELECT MORE
then choose copy (which will leave the original in the DEVICE file) OR select MOVE (which will move it leaving no original)
    then hit back arrow
then hit device icon bottom left
    then select SDCARD
    then click on CAMERA FILE
then PASTE or MOVE (depending on which method you selected)

Now the screenshot(s) is (copied) OR moved to your SDCARD (depending on which method you selected) and will come up when you need it...freeing up room on the DEVICE (if you used MOVE)

How do you paste? I'm not getting a paste option after I have done the move steps.

If you properly highlighted the item...then a bar from atop drops offering
    DEVICE - camera
    CLEAR 1 item selected PASTE
when you back out...and go to the SDCARD the Atop BAR carries with you...
otherwise..you didn't "highlight and - select more / copy or move " properly

    IF you are using MOVE..
    it shows
    DEVICE - camera
    CLEAR 1 item selected MOVE

when you get to the SDcard it will show
SDCARD - camera (if you selected the sdcard camera file to store it)
    Clear 1 item selected MOVE

Yes, but my point was that it saves it to the device, not if you can move files around after the fact.

    I agree...

Just offering a way to keep pictures on the SDcard neat and tidy...
thereby freeing up space on DEVICE

just want to put this out there since i just noticed.... i'm on BES corporate environment so i have the "personal" profile and "work" profile...

when i take a screenshot on the Z10.. they screenshots get saved to the "work" profiles File Manager.

the screenshots are NOT available in the "personal" file manager for some reason. took me a while since i kept taking screenshots and was wondering where they were going.

actually... I tested this out again after my "work" profile locked and took a few more screenshots.

basically, the screenshots go to my camera folder on my "personal" profile WHEN the "work" profile is locked.

when the "work" profile is ACTIVE and NOT locked, the screenshots go to the "work" profile camera folder.

hope that makes sense... I find this interesting. I'm not sure if there's a way to set this as a preference right now or if the setting may be in BES 10 somewhere.

    1. Fill shot glass with your choice of liquor
    2. Very carefully place shot glass on center of z10 screen
    3. Place lips to shot glass to keep from tipping
    4. Lift z10 from all 4 corners
    5. Tip head back and enjoy your first z10 screen shot.

Note: for a dry z10 screen shot follow instructions in post 2 of this thread
